ebbf is pleased to announce the creation of its new Dean of Education position which long term ebbf member Nabil Elias has accepted to take on.
With this nomination ebbf hopes to explore more deeply new learning frameworks that can test the impact and best practices of the application of its seven core values in organizations that aim to contribute to a more prosperous, just and sustainable civilization.
Nabil Elias has a lifelong experience in the area of education, he is Faculty Emeritus at the Belk College of Business, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to his retirement, he taught in MBA and Master of Accountancy programs and was director of MBA programs at UNC Charlotte and University of Manitoba. He held positions as visiting professor at INSEAD (France), Thunderbird (USA), HEC (France), ESCP (France), Laval University (Quebec) and taught MBA classes at Monterrey Tech EGADE (Mexico), and UNC Charlotte’s MBA in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Nabil commented “I look forward to working with the ebbf community and beyond to explore dimensions of knowledge, education and learning aimed to assist individuals and companies to transition towards a new paradigm of work, business, and organizations. Capturing and sharing the learning of startups and organizations that have embarked on holistic transformation consistent with the ebbf’s seven core values is only one of the many ways to contribute to knowledge and learning to enhance ebbf’s mission of creating a more prosperous, just and sustainable civilization. I warmly welcome any ideas or suggestions towards this end.”
Nabil will start to identify key topics and individuals to engage with, in order to start exploring the kinds of materials that will be most useful to create new learning frameworks, assisting the transition of companies and people towards a new paradigm of work.
